Matt will also provide accounts of his work at sea and ashore on Humber Destroyer RHIBs and 11m twin jet drive Pilot vessels along side the team at the King Edward Point research facility.

Matt arrived in South Georgia on the 28th October 2010.

Life of an Antarctic Boatman the movie

Hi Guys.

The second in a series of films about my life here in South Georgia.  I have reset the title format as the last video was more about the journey here and the first few weeks.  This is about life as it becomes more settled.  Again is a mix of film footage and still and includes some more humorous bits.  Its a shade over 11 minutes, so I hope you enjoy it!

    Great scenery and brilliant photos/movies! Looks like you're enjoying the new life and I'm really pleased that it's worked out for you mate!
    Life for Carole and I is good for us too out here in Gibraltar. So glad we left the MCA when we did.

    WOW! what a stunning place I wish I was there! certainly makes me want to go travelling again! you've all got some great shots and I love the music matt, the penguins are very entertaining!

    AMAZING - love love love the movie - excellent editing with beautiful shots and footage - great music too - not surprisingly. Makes me want to return to my explorer roots!!
